A military contingent of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan is participating in the regional military exercises "Birlik-2025," which are taking place at the Kattakurgan training ground in Samarkand from October 11 to 21. This was reported by the Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan.
The exercises are being conducted in accordance with the military cooperation plan between the Defense Ministries of Tajikistan and Uzbekistan. Military contingents from Azerbaijan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, and Uzbekistan are participating.
The main goal of the exercises is to strengthen cooperation between the armed forces of the participating countries, exchange experience, improve the professional training of personnel, and practice joint actions during combat training missions.
As noted, the Uzbek side hosted the Tajik military contingent in a friendly and warm atmosphere. All necessary conditions were created for the service members to serve and complete their assigned tasks during the exercise.
During the maneuvers, participants will practice tactical interaction, joint operation planning, intelligence sharing, and practical combat techniques in challenging terrain.
The Birlik 2025 regional exercises are designed to build trust, develop partnerships, and enhance the readiness of the armed forces of Central Asian states to work together to ensure regional security.
