On October 13, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Tajikistan Guo Zhijun met with Chairman of the China Overseas Development Association He Zhenwei and his delegation, who participated in the Dushanbe-Invest-2025 forum.
During the meeting, Guo Zhijun emphasized that trade and economic relations between Tajikistan and China are steadily deepening. More and more Chinese companies are investing in the Tajik economy and establishing businesses here, demonstrating the two countries' growing mutual interest in developing joint projects.
The diplomat expressed hope that Chinese companies will fully utilize the platforms created during various investment forums. This will help realize the consensus reached between the two heads of state on continuously deepening mutual understanding, fully leveraging the potential of cooperation, and promoting the principles of mutual benefit and win-win.
The China Overseas Development Association, along with 18 representatives of the Chinese business community, arrived in Tajikistan to participate in the Dushanbe Invest 2025 forum. According to the delegation, since their arrival, they have sensed significant potential and broad opportunities for cooperation between China and Tajikistan in various fields.
The Dushanbe-Invest-2025 Forum became an important platform for strengthening business dialogue, exchanging experiences, and identifying new joint investment projects. The parties discussed prospects for expanding the presence of Chinese companies in Tajikistan, areas for further integrating investment into the country's economy, and measures to create a favorable investment climate to attract foreign entrepreneurs.
The meeting participants noted that the active participation of Chinese enterprises in the Tajik economy not only contributes to the development of trade and investment, but also strengthens the strategic partnership between the Republic of Tajikistan and the People's Republic of China.
