In September 2025, meetings and awareness-raising events aimed at combating corruption were held in cities and districts of the Bokhtar region of the republic. The events were initiated by the Office of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of Tajikistan, the Agency's press center reported.
Events were held in the cities of Bokhtar, Levakant, and Nurek, and the districts of Panj, Jeyhun, Kushoniyon, Vakhsh, Khuroson, Abdurahmoni Jomi, and Yavan. During the meetings, Agency staff presented reports on the analysis of current legislation and state anti-corruption programs, the practice of identifying and investigating corruption offenses, liability for them, and measures to prevent them during the military conscription process.
It was noted that the creation of favorable conditions for military personnel contributes to an increase in the number of those wishing to serve in the ranks of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Tajikistan, which reflects the growth of patriotism and love for the Motherland among the younger generation.
The events helped raise public awareness of corruption prevention measures and strengthened interactions between government agencies and local military commissariats.
