Several serious traffic accidents occurred in several districts of Tajikistan between September 19 and 21, 2025, resulting in the deaths of drivers, passengers, and pedestrians. This was reported by law enforcement agencies.
On the evening of September 19, in the Guliston jamoat of the Vose district, the driver of a VAZ-2107, Murodov Dovudkhuja, born in 2004, lost control of his vehicle and drove off the road into a ditch. The driver sustained serious injuries and died while being transported to the hospital, while the passengers sustained injuries of varying severity and were hospitalized.
Early in the morning of September 20, in the Yavan district, Akobiri Namoz, born in 2008, was driving an Opel Vectra without a license and crashed into a concrete barrier. The vehicle's occupants were seriously injured, and one died in the hospital.
On the same day in Nurek, Donfen driver Said Mallaev hit a minor pedestrian, 7-year-old Odinazoda Mustafa, who received serious injuries and died in a medical facility.
On the Dushanbe-Khujand-Chanok highway, a Honki electric car driven by Amirbek Murodov, born in 1980, collided with a DAF truck. The driver and four passengers died at the scene as a result of the car's fire.
On September 21, in the village of Surkhkala in the Khuroson district, the driver of an Opel Vectra, Ganiev Khurshed, born in 1978, crashed into a Khova car parked on the side of the road and died on the spot.
That same day, in Panjakent, the driver of a Hyundai Porter, Matin Nasriddinov, born in 2001, struck a pedestrian, 33-year-old Mehrinisa Safarbek, a resident of Dushanbe. She died in the hospital.
All road accidents are investigated, the circumstances of the incidents and the degree of responsibility of the participants are established.
