During a working visit, Montenegrin Tourism Minister Simonida Kordić toured the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan. The university reported this.
During the visit, Simonida Kordić met with the university's rector, Ubaidullo Asrorzoda, where the two sides discussed prospects for expanding bilateral cooperation in education and science.
Particular attention was paid to issues of joint training of specialists in the field of tourism and hospitality according to international standards, the development and implementation of educational and scientific programs, as well as the organization of academic exchange of students and teachers.
The minister also toured the university's educational facilities and modern infrastructure, praising the conditions created for personnel training. She stated that cooperation between Tajikistan and Montenegro in education and tourism could provide a significant boost to the sustainable development of the tourism industry and the strengthening of scientific research ties.
It is noted that Simonida Kordić is one of the active initiators of the international development of the tourism industry and heads the UN Regional Tourism Commission for Europe.
