On September 18, a delegation of executives and specialists from Kyrgyz energy companies visited Tajikistan's largest energy facility, the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Station.
During the visit, the Kyrgyz delegation learned about the station's construction progress, its capacity, and the organization of electricity transmission and distribution. The main goal of the trip was to study Tajikistan's experience in energy grid management and exchange practical knowledge to improve the efficiency of Kyrgyzstan's energy companies.
The specialists discussed equipment operation, power supply reliability, and hydropower development prospects in the region with their Tajik colleagues. The visit also included a tour of the plant's key facilities and a presentation of its technological processes, allowing the Kyrgyz side to gain a full understanding of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant's scale and potential.
The Rogun Hydroelectric Power Plant is the largest facility in Tajikistan's energy system and plays a key role in providing the country with electricity and strengthening regional energy security.
