On September 17, the State Symphony Orchestra of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan performed its first concert at the Erbar Concert Hall in Vienna, featuring the Vienna Kaiser Waltz Orchestra. The concert, titled "Celebrating International Friendship," was timed to coincide with the 34th anniversary of Tajikistan's Independence Day.
According to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, the event was organized with the aim of strengthening mutually beneficial cultural cooperation between Tajikistan and Austria, as well as presenting the national culture of Tajikistan in the center of Europe.
The concert was attended by representatives of the diplomatic corps, political, scientific, business, and economic circles of Austria, as well as Tajiks living in Vienna. The evening's program included performances of works by Tajik composers combined with classical pieces from the Austrian school of music, emphasizing the idea of cultural dialogue and friendship between peoples.
According to the organizers, the concert program "Celebrating International Friendship" was warmly received by the audience. Guests noted the musicians' high professionalism, the harmonious blend of national and European musical traditions, and the importance of such events for strengthening cultural and diplomatic ties between countries.
The concert in Vienna was an important step in promoting Tajik culture abroad and demonstrates Tajikistan's commitment to actively participating in international cultural life, creating platforms for dialogue and exchange of experiences.
