Tajikistan has launched a new direct flight route between Xi'an and Dushanbe. The Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic announced this.
Chinese airline Zhejiang Loong Airlines operates flights on this route twice a week, on Tuesdays and Fridays. The ministry noted that the launch of these flights is part of strengthening aviation cooperation between Tajikistan and China.
On August 21, Khabibullo Nazarzoda, Director of the Civil Aviation Agency of Tajikistan, met with Guo Zhijun, Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the People's Republic of China to Dushanbe. The discussion focused on the development of civil aviation, the launch of direct flights between Dushanbe and Xi'an and between Dushanbe and Guangzhou, and the improvement of flights on the Dushanbe and Urumqi and Dushanbe and Beijing routes.
Direct flights between Dushanbe and Beijing and Kashgar and Khujand were previously launched.
