The Ministry of Defense of Tajikistan held a working meeting with military personnel and representatives of military conscription commissions to discuss preventing corruption in military conscription. This was reported by the press center of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The event was part of the Agency's action plan aimed at raising the legal awareness of Ministry of Defense employees and members of draft boards. Officers from the Ministry of Defense, the General Staff of the Armed Forces, and military recruitment offices from Dushanbe's districts participated in the discussion.
The department emphasized that the main goal of the meeting was to foster anti-corruption legal awareness and prevent the risk of unlawful actions during the autumn conscription of citizens into the Armed Forces.
"The results of the event will have a positive impact on improving the legal culture of military service personnel and strengthening an intolerant attitude toward corruption," the Agency's press center noted.
