In the capital of Tajikistan, police officers uncovered instances of illegal alcohol sales to minors, according to the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs.
As the department clarified, during a targeted investigation conducted by officers from the Juvenile and Youth Affairs Unit of the Sino District Department of Internal Affairs No. 1, two cases of similar violations were recorded.
The sellers, Fotima Rozieva and Ilkhom Aliyev, knowingly sold alcoholic beverages to a minor. Administrative protocols have been filed against the offenders under Article 464 of the Code of Administrative Offenses of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The court imposed fines on them. The Ministry of Internal Affairs emphasized that such actions by the vendors not only violate the law but also harm the health and safety of young people. The agency called on retail owners to strictly adhere to current regulations and refrain from illegal activities.
