Ukrainian youth from across the country recorded a joint video message to congratulate the people of Tajikistan on Independence Day. The young Ukrainians emphasized their respect for Tajikistan's history, culture, and traditions and expressed hope for the further strengthening of friendship and cooperation between our countries.
In their addresses, participants highlighted personal impressions and symbols associated with Tajikistan:
Goncharuk Maryna, Kyiv:
"I heartily congratulate Tajikistan on Independence Day! For me, Tajikistan is cozy Dushanbe, with Taras Shevchenko Street in the city center and the Kobzar monument in the capital's old quarter. It's love for Ukraine and the support of our people. And also a whole galaxy of translations of Shevchenko into Tajik and Ukrainian translations of Sadriddin Aini's works, which open new horizons of mutual understanding between our peoples. Tajikistan is a sunny land, welcoming, and respectful of its culture and identity."
