On Sunday night, Russian armed forces launched an attack on Kyiv using attack drones. Three people were killed in the attack, including a woman and a child under one year old, and more than 20 other Kyiv residents were injured, according to Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko.
According to him, the most severe damage was recorded in the Svyatoshinsky district. The fourth through eighth floors of a nine-story residential building partially collapsed, damaging cars and warehouses. A young woman and an infant were killed in the attack.
In the Darnytskyi district, damage was reported to a four-story residential building, where a fire broke out on the third and fourth floors, and part of the third floor collapsed. Furthermore, a woman died in one of the shelters in the district.
Additionally, as a result of drone debris striking a sixteen-story building in the capital, a fire broke out on the 15th and 16th floors. Fires also broke out in two other nine-story buildings.
"At this time, eight people are known to have been injured in the Svyatoshinsky and Darnytsky districts. Five of them were hospitalized, including a pregnant woman. The rest received medical assistance at the scene," Klitschko noted.
According to updated information, three people were killed in the attack, and approximately 20 residents of the capital were injured. A fire also broke out in a government building in the Pechersky district.
