A new preschool has opened in the village of Sargumbez, Murghab District, Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, Tajikistan. The district administration announced this.
The ceremony was attended by the Chairman of GBAO Mirzonabot Alisher Khudoberdi, the Chairman of the Committee for Environmental Protection under the Government of Tajikistan Sheralizoda Bakhodur and the Deputy Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli Aziz Giezoda.
The new preschool includes three classrooms and is designed for 33 students. Construction began in early 2025 and was completed promptly.
The opening of the kindergarten will help solve the problem of preschool education coverage for children in one of the most remote areas of the country.
The project was implemented in accordance with the instructions of the President of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon on the construction and restoration of preschool institutions, as outlined in his address to the Majlisi Oli.
Following the opening ceremony, regional leaders and distinguished guests met with residents of Sargumbez. Local residents expressed gratitude to the government and President Emomali Rahmon personally for their ongoing support and dedication to the development of social infrastructure.
