During the meeting of the Council of Heads of State of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization (SCO), the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Leader of the Nation Emomali Rahmon, held a working conversation with the Prime Minister of the Republic of India Narendra Modi, the press service of the head of state reported.
During the meeting, an exchange of views took place on issues of expanding political, trade, economic, cultural and humanitarian cooperation between Tajikistan and India.
Both sides expressed satisfaction with the dynamic development of multifaceted relations between the two countries and emphasized the importance of further strengthening the strategic partnership.
The meeting took place in a businesslike and friendly atmosphere, contributing to the deepening of mutual understanding and the development of joint initiatives within the SCO and bilateral cooperation.
