At the traditional Peace Lesson, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon emphasized the importance of introducing alternative forms of preschool education for children. This was reported by the presidential press service.
The head of the republic reminded the heads of regions, cities, and districts, as well as relevant ministries and agencies, of the need to implement the provisions of the National Education Development Strategy, which calls for increasing preschool education coverage to 50% by 2030.
"The Ministry of Education and Science, the Ministry of Economic Development and Trade, the Agency for Supervision of Education and Science, and the National Testing Center are obligated to take effective measures to increase the number of places in preschool programs at secondary and higher vocational education institutions and fully equip kindergartens with qualified personnel in the future," Rakhmon noted.
According to the President, the development of the preschool education system should become a priority of state education policy, since it is at an early age that the foundation for the intellectual and moral development of the individual is laid.
