Daler Juma, Minister of Energy and Water Resources of Tajikistan and head of the working group preparing for the 35th anniversary of state independence in the Roshtqala district of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region, inspected the progress of preparatory work in the district's public schools. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
According to the department, there are 41 educational institutions in the Roshtkala district, serving over 4,200 students. Currently, work continues at these educational institutions to improve their grounds, renovate classrooms, and provide furniture and other necessary educational supplies.
In preparation for the independence anniversary, new buildings and additional classrooms have already been commissioned in the district, significantly improving educational conditions.
Speaking with teachers, the minister emphasized that, with government support, educational conditions in remote villages of the Gorno-Badakhshan Autonomous Region are gradually improving. He stated that special attention is being paid to educating the younger generation and improving the quality of schoolchildren's education.
