A ceremony was held in Bokhtar to inaugurate two new mini-football pitches, which were built at the initiative and with the support of the President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, Rustam Emomali, the FFT reports.
The opening ceremony of the football pitches was attended by Davlatali Said, member of the Executive Committee of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, Chairman of the Football Federation of Khatlon Region, Chairman of Khatlon, Iskandar Jalilov, Vice President of the Football Federation of Tajikistan, Furkat Akhmedzhanov, Secretary General of the FFT, and Abdumajid Muminzod, Mayor of Bokhtar.
The grounds are equipped with modern sports equipment and provide good conditions for various activities, including football and other types of physical exercise.
The construction of such sites in various parts of the Khatlon region contributes to an increase in the number of young people actively participating in sporting events and increases their level of participation in district and regional competitions.
During a meeting with youth and teenagers, the regional chairman emphasized that sports are important not only for physical health but also for preventing involvement in various extremist groups.
