Anti-corruption measures and measures to prevent illegal use of electricity were discussed in the Dusti district.

On August 12, 2025, at the initiative of the Agency for State Financial Control and Combating Corruption of the Republic of Tajikistan, a meeting was held at the Palace of Culture and General Education Institution No. 13 in Dusti District, Khatlon Region, between agency representatives and district activists and residents. The meeting was attended by the leadership and officials of the Dusti District Executive Authority, representatives of government agencies, the Executive Committee of the People's Democratic Party of Tajikistan, imam-khatibs, and district residents. This was reported by the Agency's press center.

During the event, Agency representatives briefed participants on the directives and orders of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, Emomali Rahmon, regarding amendments and additions to criminal and administrative legislation regarding penalties for the illegal use of electricity. They also explained the essence of the "State Anti-Corruption Strategy in the Republic of Tajikistan through 2030," ways to prevent corruption, preparation for the winter season, improvement and construction work, the upbringing and education of children, and other relevant issues.

It is worth noting that the purpose of such events is, first and foremost, to draw public attention to the fight against corruption, improve citizens' legal awareness, prevent any violations, promote the proper use of electricity, and ensure compliance with laws and state anti-corruption programs.
