On August 6, Deputy Prime Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan Dilrabo Mansuri inspected the progress of educational institutions in the Sughd region in preparing for the start of the new academic year, government sources reported.
As part of her working visit, Dilrabo Mansuri visited the additional building under construction at Rakhim Jalil Gymnasium No. 1 in Khujand, Kindergarten No. 9 in the city, and Secondary School No. 15 in the Bobojon Gafurov District.
The new building for Gymnasium No. 1 is a five-story structure with a basement, designed to accommodate 1,400 students in two shifts. It is planned to be completed in time for the celebration of Tajikistan's 35th anniversary of state independence.
At Kindergarten No. 9, special attention was paid to creating a favorable and comfortable environment for children's learning and development. The Deputy Prime Minister emphasized the need to use modern teaching aids and engage highly qualified teachers. Ensuring high-quality nutrition, optimal conditions for sleep and rest, and accommodating children and adolescents within the facility's available capacity were also identified as important tasks.
The administration of Secondary School No. 15 in the Bobojon Gafurov district was advised to focus its efforts on strengthening the teaching of exact and technical sciences, as well as equipping classrooms with modern teaching aids, which will improve the quality of education and prepare students for the demands of the times.
This inspection is part of the Tajik government's systematic efforts to ensure conditions for high-quality and comprehensive education, which is a priority of state education policy.
