On July 30, 2025, in Dushanbe, MegaFon Tajikistan and the Football Federation of Tajikistan (FFT) signed an agreement on strategic cooperation aimed at supporting and developing football.
The partners will be organizing joint events for the second year in a row. One of the implemented projects was the children's tournament "MegaFon Life in Football Style", during which more than 400 matches were held in the largest cities of the country – Dushanbe, Bokhtar, Vahdat, Gissar, Istaravshan, Kulyab, Khorog and Khujand, as well as the Faizabad and Shahrinav districts. About 3,400 children from 216 teams took part in the tournament. The largest number of young football players gathered at the games in Dushanbe and Istaravshan – 460 people each.
According to the new document, signed by the CEO of MegaFon Tajikistan Anatoly Izyumnikov and the Vice President of the FFT Iskandar Jalilov, the parties plan to organize a number of major sporting events. These include a futsal tournament, a series of children's football festivals throughout the country, and the MegaFon U12 tournament in Dushanbe. Also planned are events to support the national team of the Republic of Tajikistan and a trip for the country's youth team to the U16 World Cup in Qatar.
"We are pleased to continue our cooperation with the Football Federation of Tajikistan. Our joint projects have shown how business and sports can unite for a common cause – raising a new generation of football players and promoting an active lifestyle. Thus, last fall, thousands of Dushanbe residents attended a unique match with the participation of football stars, show business and Instagram. I am sure that there are even more bright initiatives ahead that contribute to the development of football and inspire young people throughout the country!" – noted the CEO of MegaFon Tajikistan, Anatoly Izyumnikov.
"The support of MegaFon Tajikistan is very important for the implementation of our tasks to develop mass and children's football. This is not just a partnership – it is a step towards the future, where every child will have the opportunity to go out on the football field and believe in themselves," emphasized FFT Vice President Iskandar Jalilov.
