From the evening of July 27 and throughout the night, Russian troops launched a massive attack on Ukrainian territory using Shahed-type attack drones. According to the Ukrainian Air Force, enemy drones were spotted in various regions of the country — from the south to the north, from the center to the west. An air raid alert was declared in most regions, and air defense units were actively working.
Kyiv: 8 people injured, including a child
According to the capital's authorities, residential buildings were damaged as a result of the attack in the Darnitsky district of Kyiv. The blast wave blew out windows in the entrance hall from the 6th to the 11th floors of the multi-story building. Eight people were injured, four of whom were hospitalized. One of the injured was a three-year-old child with shrapnel wounds. Kyiv Mayor Vitali Klitschko and the head of the Kyiv City Military Administration Timur Tkachenko confirmed that all emergency services were working at the scene. No fires were recorded, but cars parked near the building were also damaged.
The attack covered dozens of regions
Enemy drones were moving in the following directions:

Vinnytsia and Zhytomyr regions;

Poltava region (heading to Cherkassy);

Chernihiv region (southwest course);

Kyiv, Rivne, Volyn, Kirovograd, Dnepropetrovsk, Khmelnytsky regions.
The Ukrainian Air Force reported recording "high-speed targets" across the country, including near Kropyvnytskyi, Starokostiantyniv, and other cities. In some cases, explosions were heard.
The situation remains tense
Ukrainian authorities are calling on the population not to ignore alarm signals and strictly observe safety rules during air attacks. According to the latest data, the threat of UAV strikes remains, although in some regions they have already started to lift the alarm.
Meanwhile, it became known that in Sumy Oblast, the Ukrainian Armed Forces liberated the settlement of Kondratovka, which was officially reported by the 225th separate assault regiment. Fierce fighting continues in Kupyansk, Kharkiv Oblast: the enemy is trying to break through from the northwest.
