In the first six months of 2025, 90.3 thousand tons of agricultural products worth a total of $33.9 million were exported from Tajikistan abroad. This was reported by the First Deputy Director of the Export Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan Khurshed Zukhurzoda during a press conference in Dushanbe.
According to him, export volumes increased by 13.2 thousand tons compared to the same period last year. The bulk of supplies were dried fruits – worth $18.2 million, fresh fruits – $7.9 million, vegetables – $4.7 million, as well as other types of agricultural products – $3.1 million.
"Tajik agricultural products are exported to 50 countries of the near and far abroad. The geography of deliveries is expanding annually, which is facilitated by both the high quality of the products and support from the state," Zukhurzoda emphasized.
Among the main countries importing Tajik products are Russia, Kazakhstan, Uzbekistan, the United Arab Emirates, China and a number of European countries.
According to the Agency, the export of agricultural products remains an important component of the country's foreign trade policy and helps strengthen Tajikistan's position in international food markets.
