In Tajikistan, work is actively underway to attract young people to primary vocational education institutions, reports the Committee on Primary and Secondary Vocational Education under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the source, over the next 5 years, more than one million young people will be covered by education, including foreign languages.
In the first half of 2025, a plan was implemented to attract 20,000 young men and women without a profession to short-term courses. Over the first 6 months of this year, 4,269 people completed short-term courses, including 1,007 women and girls.
Currently, 65 institutions of initial vocational education are training workers in 14 work areas and 300 specialties, which is 165 specialties more than a year ago.
