At the initiative of the Executive Authority of the city of Dushanbe, in honor of World Tourism Day, the second Dushanbe International Tourism Exhibition (DITE) will be held from September 18 to 20, 2025. This was reported by NIAT Khovar with reference to the head of the tourism development department of the Executive Authority of the city of Dushanbe Dilshod Jamshed.

DITE-2025 is held with the support of the Executive Authority of the State Authority of Dushanbe by the travel company "Somon Travel" with the participation of development partners. More than 200 representatives of the tourism industry from Tajikistan and foreign countries are expected to participate, as well as the arrival of over 400 guests from near and far abroad.

In order to organize the DITE-2025 tourism exhibition at a high organizational level, the corresponding resolution of the Chairman of the city of Dushanbe "On holding the Dushanbe International Tourism Exhibition (DITE-2025)" was signed on July 7, 2025. The Action Plan and the Composition of the Organizing Committee for the preparation and holding of the exhibition were also approved.

The purpose of DITE-2025 is to develop the tourism industry, form a regional tourism market in Dushanbe, present the rich natural, tourism, cultural and health-improving potential of the country, develop best practices, attract foreign direct investment, implement tourism projects, strengthen industry and twinning cooperation, develop partnerships with tourism service providers and, on this basis, develop joint tourism strategies.

The exhibition will be attended by representatives of tourism services from Tajikistan, the region and the world – in particular, sister cities and partner cities of Dushanbe, including tourism and airlines, hotels and restaurants, medical and health, cultural and historical and entertainment institutions. The event will include B2B meetings, as well as the signing of new cooperation agreements. In addition, the exhibition will include training sessions on service in restaurants, hotels and the organization of excursion support.

The preparation and holding of DITE-2025 is coordinated by the Tourism Development Department of the Executive Authority of the city of Dushanbe.

Let us recall that the first International Tourism Exhibition Dushanbe DITE, on the initiative of the Chairman of the City of Dushanbe Rustami Emomali, was held on September 25-27, 2024 at a high organizational level.

At DITE-2024, entities of the tourism industry of Tajikistan, in particular the city of Dushanbe, as well as sister cities and partner cities, including tourism and airlines, transport organizations, hotels and restaurants, medical and health, cultural, historical and entertainment institutions, presented their products and services.

In total, 20 foreign companies from 16 foreign cities and 90 domestic companies took part in the exhibition. The event included B2B (entrepreneur to entrepreneur) meetings, new cooperation agreements were signed between the participants, which created favorable conditions for the development of the tourism industry on all sides.

Holding such exhibitions is one of the effective ways to attract foreign tourists and direct investment to the country, and also helps improve the quality of tourism services, expand cooperation between cities and capitals, tourism industry entities and interested groups.

It should be noted that large tourism exhibitions are organized annually in many countries around the world, where more than 5,000 companies related to the tourism industry present their services and products.
