The Russian government has proposed state fees for migrant patents and registration at the place of residence

The government is proposing to introduce additional fees to strengthen control over the stay of foreign citizens on Russian territory, Rossiyskaya Gazeta reports.

Thus, the state fee for registration at the place of stay will be 500 rubles, and for extending the period of temporary stay in the country – 1000 rubles.

Registration of a patent for a migrant will be subject to a fee – 4,200 rubles. The fee will be an additional measure that increases the effectiveness of migration policy and strengthens control over the use of foreign labor, the government expects.
