The national team of schoolchildren from Tajikistan will represent the republic at the International Physics Olympiad ISPhO-2025, which is being held from June 29 to July 8 in the city of Khanty-Mansiysk, Russian Federation. This was reported by the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The team included three high school students and one teacher. The Olympiad was organized by the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation, the Government of the Khanty-Mansiysk Autonomous Okrug – Yugra and the Moscow Institute of Physics and Technology (National Research University).
The ISPhO Olympiad is held in two stages – theoretical and experimental. In the theoretical stage, participants will have to solve three complex problems, one of which involves computer modeling. The experimental round involves completing a practical task using computer technology to collect and analyze data.
As the Ministry emphasized, participation in ISPhO helps to develop a sustainable interest in schoolchildren in studying natural sciences and allows them to acquire valuable knowledge in solving both theoretical and applied problems.
