In accordance with the Action Plan for the implementation of the Program for Improving the Financial Literacy of the Population for 2026-2030, a "Financial Literacy" festival was held in the Tajikabad district, the press department of the National Bank of Tajikistan reported. . The festival included a financial literacy forum and a financial services exhibition. Representatives of the National Bank of Tajikistan, district executive bodies, credit and financial institutions, and insurance companies, as well as target groups, participated in these events.

The financial literacy forum began with presentations by Fakerzoda Kadriddin, Head of the Tajikobad District, and Hakimzoda Abdurrahman, Head of the Financial Services Consumer Protection Department at the National Bank of Tajikistan. They discussed the importance of financial education for the population, strengthening trust in the banking and insurance systems, the measures taken by the National Bank in this area, and the key areas for implementing the Financial Literacy Improvement Program for 2026-2030.
Then, specialists from the National Bank of Tajikistan and credit financial institutions gave presentations on the topics of "Internet fraud and methods for its prevention," "Non-cash payments and their safe use," "Health and life insurance," and "Family budget planning and the importance of savings."
The forum also featured a financial literacy competition, with winners and active participants receiving commemorative gifts. The event engaged target groups, including migrant workers, women, youth, students from general education institutions, teachers of the "Fundamentals of Economics" course, and students from district secondary vocational schools.

A financial services exhibition was held in the square near the district cultural center. Eighteen credit institutions and seven insurance companies presented their products and services. Overall, more than 1,200 people participated in the "Financial Literacy" festival in the Tajikabad district.



It should be noted that holding such events contributes to raising the level of knowledge and financial literacy of the population, protecting the rights of consumers of financial services, responsible and safe use of financial services, as well as developing healthy competition and improving the quality of banking and insurance services.
