In the first half of 2026, over 30.3 billion somoni were allocated to finance Tajikistan's economic and social sectors. This was announced by Finance Minister Faiziddin Kahorzoda at a press conference summarizing the ministry's performance in the first half of 2026.
According to him, 13.7 billion somoni, or 45%, of the total state budget expenditures were allocated to finance the social sphere.
As Kakhorzoda noted, the Ministry of Finance ensured the timely fulfillment of the state's social obligations during the reporting period, paying particular attention to the sustainability of the budget system and the effective distribution of public funds.




During the press conference, it was also emphasized that the Ministry will continue its policy aimed at improving the efficiency of public finance management, ensuring transparency of the budget process, expanding international cooperation, and strengthening the country's financial stability.
According to the Ministry of Finance, the results of the first half of the year indicate that Tajikistan maintains financial stability despite the influence of global economic factors and creates the basis for further socio-economic development.
