On July 20, President of the Republic of Tajikistan Emomali Rahmon arrived in Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia, for a state visit. This was reported by the press service of the President of Tajikistan.
For the arrival of the head of the Tajik state, the territory of the international airport was festively decorated with the national flags of Tajikistan and Mongolia.


At Ulaanbaatar International Airport, Tajik President Emomali Rahmon was met by Mongolian Foreign Minister Battsetseg Batmunkhin and other high-ranking and official representatives of the host country.
In accordance with official protocol for state visits, a red carpet was rolled out in front of the plane's steps. Honor guards lined both sides.



The solemnity of the welcoming ceremony was also emphasized by the participation of a group of Mongolian youth dressed in national costumes and the observance of the tradition of ceremonial reception of high-ranking foreign guests.
