On July 17, 2026, during a working visit to Shanghai, People's Republic of China, Minister of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan Sherali Kabir visited SANY production facilities and met with its management. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan.
During the negotiations, the parties discussed the prospects for establishing the production of specialized electrical equipment in Tajikistan, including construction, municipal, and mining equipment, targeting both the domestic market and exports.


The meeting participants focused on the gradual transition from diesel-powered specialized equipment to electric power. According to the ministry, this will reduce operating costs, reduce emissions, and improve energy efficiency and productivity, particularly in the mining industry.
SANY is one of the world's leading manufacturers of construction and specialized equipment and is actively developing electric and low-carbon technologies.
Following the visit, the parties confirmed their mutual interest in further developing cooperation and agreed to continue developing specific projects to establish the production of specialized electrical equipment in the Republic of Tajikistan.
