The Ministry of Labor, Migration, and Employment of Tajikistan has identified 20 priority professions for which new professional competency standards and modular educational programs will be developed, the ministry reports.
The list includes modern specialties in demand in the labor market, including artificial intelligence technology specialists, drone operators, solar energy equipment installers, electric vehicle component repair technicians, mobile phone repairers, social workers, elevator electricians, power line installers and repairers, as well as electricity meter servicing and agricultural machinery repair specialists.
The Ministry noted that the development of new educational standards is aimed at bringing the professional training system into line with modern labor market requirements and the development of new technologies.
