In the first six months of 2026, officers from the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs' Juvenile Affairs Unit prevented eight incidents of group conflicts among minors. Fifty-three teenagers were detained at the scene, according to the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
According to law enforcement agencies, 10 knives of various brands were confiscated from minors who intended to commit hooligan acts.
Administrative protocols were drawn up against the parents of all the detained teenagers in accordance with Article 90 of the Code of the Republic of Tajikistan on Administrative Offenses. Following the off-site court hearings, administrative fines were imposed on them.
As noted by the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the timely actions of police officers allowed them to quickly identify the conflicts in the making and prevent the commission of hooligan crimes with serious consequences.
The police also appealed to residents of the country, especially fathers and mothers, to pay more attention to the education and upbringing of children, and to monitor their behavior, actions, and social circles in order to prevent similar incidents.
