Tajikistan saw a significant increase in livestock and poultry exports in the first six months of 2026. During this period, 3.7 million eggs, 324,300 chickens, 360 bee colonies, and 33 tons of fish were exported. This was reported at a press conference by the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Tajikistan on July 9.
As noted at the press conference, in addition to supplying the domestic consumer market with domestic products, Tajikistan continues to export agricultural products.
According to customs authorities, 74.3 thousand tons of agricultural products worth a total of $39.9 million were exported from the republic in the first six months of 2026.
Tajik agricultural products were exported to 21 neighboring and non-CIS countries. Of these, 89% went to CIS countries, and another 11% went to non-CIS countries.
Dried fruits accounted for the largest volume of agricultural exports, at 39,900 tons. Vegetable exports reached 21,800 tons, and fresh fruit exports reached 10,600 tons.
In addition, 746 tons of nuts, 102 tons of melons, and 33 tons of fish were exported. Other agricultural exports totaled 822 tons.
