On July 6, 2026, the next meeting of the expert group on the draft Agreement on the establishment of the Council of Heads of Enforcement Agencies of the CIS Member States was held, the press service of the Organization's Executive Committee reported.
The meeting was held at the CIS Executive Committee Office via videoconference under the chairmanship of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The meeting was attended by representatives of Armenia, Belarus, Kyrgyzstan, Russia, Tajikistan and Uzbekistan, as well as the Executive Committee of the Commonwealth of Independent States.

During the meeting, experts reviewed proposals and comments received from CIS member states regarding the draft Agreement on the Establishment of the Council of Heads of Enforcement Agencies.
Following the discussion, the meeting participants generally agreed on the draft document.
Work on the Agreement will continue. The next meeting of the expert group is scheduled for August 14, 2026. It will be held at the CIS Executive Committee via videoconference.
