The total revenue of Tajikistan's communications industry in the first half of 2026 amounted to 2.9 billion somoni, an increase of 23.8% compared to the same period last year.
These data are provided by the Communications Service under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan based on the results of the industry's activities for the first six months of this year.
The indicator is calculated taking into account the performance of enterprises within the structure of the Communications Service, as well as private operators and providers.


The industry's revenues contributed 837 million somoni in taxes to the state budget of Tajikistan.
In addition, during the reporting period, the budget received 26 million 966 thousand 577 somoni for the provision of public services in the field of communications.
We are talking about income from issuing licenses, state registration of radio-electronic equipment, certification of telecommunications equipment and the use of numbering resources.
Currently, more than 6,160 people work in Tajikistan's communications sector. Of these, 4,429, or 72%, are men, and 1,731, or 28%, are women.
The industry employs 5,837 communications specialists and 323 employees in other professions and specialties.
