The National Library of the Executive Office of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan has launched a new project, "Five Talents," aimed at organizing meaningful leisure activities for children and adolescents, the library's press service reported.
The first meeting of the club was attended by children and teenagers – readers of the children's and adolescent literature department of the National Library.
Farogat Tolibova, Head of the Children's and Youth Literature Department, addressed the participants and guests with a welcoming speech.
Then, the club's host, participant in the republican competition "Furugi subkhi donoi kitob ast" ("The Book of Wisdom is the Radiance of Dawn"), Nurbonu Shamsiddinova, introduced the children to the rules of the event.
To make the meeting more interesting and engaging, the participants were divided into two teams. The first was called "Sapeda" ("Dawn"), the second "Padida" ("Apparition").
The new club's main goal is to discover talent among young readers. The project includes five areas: artistic creativity, including drawing, public speaking, musical performance, parody and imitation, and free writing. This latter area encompasses dancing, cooking, sewing, and other creative activities.
The first competition was a drawing contest. Representatives from both teams drew a dove of peace. The votes ultimately favored Zukhro from the Sapeda team.

The second competition focused on public speaking. Ruyo from the Padida team emerged victorious in this category. Her welcoming speech received high praise from the audience.
In the third competition, the participants demonstrated their musical instrument skills. Yasin from the Sapeda team performed a musical number and a song for the audience.

The winner of the fourth competition was Muhammad from the Padida team. He eloquently recited an excerpt from Abulkasim Lakhuti's "The Tale of Tanya's Feat."
The final competition showcased the participants' creative talents in a free-style genre. The young participants performed dance routines. The team "Sapeda" received the most votes.
At the end of the event, the winners and participants were presented with commemorative gifts.
The organizers note that the goal of the Five Talents Club is to identify new talents, develop creativity and public speaking skills, and increase children's interest in reading and creativity.
