Another important event has occurred in Tajikistan's aviation industry: the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan and the Government of Georgia signed an Air Services Agreement. This was reported by the press service of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan.
The document was signed by the Director of the Civil Aviation Agency under the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan, Khabibullo Nazarzoda, and the Minister of Economy and Sustainable Development of Georgia, Mariam Kvrivishvili.
The signing of the agreement creates favorable conditions for expanding bilateral cooperation in air transport. The document aims to attract tourists and investment, strengthen friendly ties, develop mutual understanding and cooperation between the two countries, and further develop the potential of international air travel.


In addition, the agreement provides for the creation of a legal basis for the organization of regular flights between Tajikistan and cities in Georgia, which is expected to facilitate increased contacts between the countries.
According to the agreements reached, the parties will collaborate in a number of key areas of civil aviation. Specifically, the cooperation will cover commercial activities, the designation and licensing of air carriers, aviation security, and flight safety.
The signing of the agreement marked another step in the development of cooperation between Tajikistan and Georgia in the field of civil aviation and air transport.
