Tajikistan and NVIDIA discussed the development of AI infrastructure.

The Council on Artificial Intelligence under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan and NVIDIA discussed prospects for expanding cooperation in the field of artificial intelligence, developing computing infrastructure, and supporting the national AI ecosystem.

According to the press service of the Council on Artificial Intelligence under the Ministry of Industry and New Technologies of the Republic of Tajikistan, on June 12, Council Chairman Azizjon Azimi held a meeting at NVIDIA's global headquarters in Santa Clara, California, with the company's head of AI ecosystems and strategic partnerships, as well as the AI ​​Nations team.

During the talks, the parties discussed prospects for expanding cooperation between Tajikistan and NVIDIA in the field of green computing infrastructure for artificial intelligence. It was noted that the first GPU cluster based on NVIDIA H200 graphics processors has already been commissioned in Tajikistan, serving local and regional offtakers.

The meeting participants also discussed opportunities for further scaling of AI infrastructure, given the republic's significant potential for affordable and environmentally friendly hydropower.

NVIDIA representatives presented the company's AI ecosystem development programs, aimed at supporting developers, startups, and the research community. The Chairman of the AI ​​Council, in turn, expressed his readiness to implement NVIDIA's AI ecosystem development program at the Area AI platform in Dushanbe.

The parties also discussed potential partnership formats, including connecting Tajik companies and researchers working in the field of artificial intelligence to the global NVIDIA ecosystem.

The meeting focused on the NVIDIA Nemotron family of models and their potential for adaptation within the framework of the SoroLLM national language model, developed by zehnlab.ai.

Participants also discussed the prospects of using NVIDIA models to improve the quality, efficiency, and security of national artificial intelligence solutions focused on the Tajik language.

The meeting featured a presentation of NVIDIA's latest technological developments in AI computing, including new generations of GPUs and computing platforms. Specifically, the Vera Rubin architecture, designed to scale the next generation of AI factories and agent-based artificial intelligence systems, was discussed.
