On the sidelines of the regular meeting of the ministers of internal affairs and public security of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization in Bishkek, a meeting was held between the Minister of Internal Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan, Police Colonel-General Ramazon Rahimzoda, and the Federal Minister of Internal Affairs and Narcotics Control of the Islamic Republic of Pakistan, Syed Mohsin Reza Naqvi.
During the talks, the parties confirmed their confidence in the further development and strengthening of cooperation within the Shanghai Cooperation Organization.
Particular attention was paid to issues of expanding cooperation in the fight against transnational crime, cybercrime, and ensuring information security.
The parties exchanged views on current issues of cooperation in these areas and emphasized the importance of further strengthening joint efforts in the field of security.
The meeting took place in a friendly atmosphere and spirit of mutual understanding.
