Preparations for the national competition "Best Expert on the Works of the Leader of the Nation" continue at Dushanbe's higher and secondary specialized educational institutions. As part of a series of meetings, Bunafsha Rakhmonova and Masrur Mirzokhasanov, employees of the Media Library of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan, visited the M.S. Osimi Tajik Technical University, the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan, the Tajik Technological University, and the Dushanbe Engineering and Pedagogical College, according to the press service of the National Library of Tajikistan.
At the Tajik Technical University named after Academician M.S. Osimi, Mediatheque representatives held a meeting with Erajboy Sharifzoda, Head of the Department of Social Science and PhD in Social Sciences. According to him, 26 people from the university participated in the first round of the national competition, and three winners advanced to the final round.
A meeting with Umedjon Safarzoda, Director of the Center for Talent Identification and Development, was held at the International University of Tourism and Entrepreneurship of Tajikistan. He noted that the winners of the first stage of the "Best Expert on the Works of the Leader of the Nation" competition also actively participated in other national competitions and olympiads.
At the Tajik Technological University, Mediatheque staff met with Sharifzoda Shamsiddin, Deputy Rector for Educational Work and Ideology, and Asomiddin Abdumumin, Head of the Department of Humanities. According to Abdumumin, 18 applicants participated in the first stage of the competition, and the winners are seriously preparing for the second stage of the national competition.
Mediatheque representatives also visited the Dushanbe Engineering and Pedagogical College, where they met with Zevarsho Vohidov, Head of the Science and Innovation Department. During the meeting, the parties discussed the results of the first stage of the competition. It was noted that the college houses a Center for the Works of the Leader of the Nation, which displays his works. Students have the opportunity to view them in a specially equipped, spacious room.
At the conclusion of the meetings, staff from the Media Library of the President of the Republic of Tajikistan recommended that representatives of educational institutions make more active use of the National Library's resources to obtain necessary literature in preparation for national competitions.
