As part of the digital transformation of the healthcare system in Tajikistan, a mobile app called "Safe Childbirth" is being developed to support pregnant women, new mothers, and healthcare professionals.
According to the Ministry of Health and Social Protection of the Republic, the implementation of the "Safe Childbirth" mobile program in primary health care facilities in pilot cities and districts will increase public awareness of maternal and child health issues, prevent complications during pregnancy, and promote safe childbirth.
The app allows users to access reliable information about pregnancy, expert advice, warning signs, and information on the need to seek medical attention promptly.
The Ministry of Health and Social Protection emphasized that digitalization of the healthcare system is not only a requirement of the times but also an important factor in improving the quality of medical services.
According to the agency, the implementation of such digital solutions could help improve the efficiency of services provided, strengthen interactions between doctors and patients, and expand public access to medical information.
It is noted that the development of the "Safe Childbirth" mobile app is part of the digital transformation of Tajikistan's healthcare system and is aimed at supporting expectant mothers, young parents, and healthcare workers.
