The CIS Executive Committee took part in the #Razamzdzetsmi charity event, dedicated to International Children's Day. The event was jointly organized by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus and diplomatic missions accredited in the country. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
As part of the campaign, participants collected dozens of boxes and bags containing pleasant and useful gifts for children in social care institutions. The children received craft kits, scooters, modern gadgets, multicookers, speakers, guitars, and other gifts.
The Belarusian Foreign Ministry's press service noted that the event was attended by ministry employees and diplomats from Armenia, Bulgaria, the Vatican, Great Britain, Georgia, the European Union, Iran, Italy, Kazakhstan, Qatar, China, Kyrgyzstan, Moldova, the United Arab Emirates, Palestine, Poland, Russia, Romania, Serbia, Syria, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, the Czech Republic, Switzerland, and Sweden.
The Permanent Mission of Russia to the CIS, the CIS Executive Committee, the International Organization for Migration, the World Health Organization, the Eurasian Economic Union Court, the CIS Economic Court, the Honorary Consuls of Zambia, Spain, Serbia, and Thailand, and the Minsk International Women's Club also participated in the charity initiative.
"We thank the staff of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs, diplomats, international organizations, judicial authorities, honorary consuls, and the Minsk International Women's Club for their compassion and willingness to bring joy and smiles to children. This event once again confirms that through cooperation, mutual respect, and a desire to help those in need, we are capable of great things," noted the press service of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus.
