On May 14, a signing ceremony for a Cooperation Agreement was held at the Ministry of Education and Science of the Republic of Tajikistan and the independent non-profit organization "Institute of School Nutrition," the leading organization in the CIS member states on student nutrition issues. This was reported by the press service of the Ministry of Education and Science of Tajikistan.
The event was attended by First Deputy Minister of Education and Science Khomid Khoshimzoda, Deputy Minister Badriddin Muzaffarzoda, representatives of the ministry, Vladimir Chernigov, President of the independent non-profit organization "Institute of School Nutrition," and the organization's employees.
Speaking at the ceremony, Khomid Khoshimzoda thanked the Russian side for its assistance in developing cooperation with Tajikistan in the area of school meals. He stated that the signing of the agreement will be an important step in strengthening the partnership, expanding professional interaction, and sharing best practices.



During the meeting, it was noted that providing children with healthy and balanced nutrition is directly linked to the health of the younger generation, the quality of the educational process, and the mental and physical development of students. Therefore, issues of protecting children's health, improving learning conditions, and enhancing the school nutrition system in Tajikistan are receiving special attention at the government level.
The parties emphasized that the cooperation will be aimed at improving the student nutrition system, implementing modern standards and technologies, exchanging professional knowledge and experience, improving the qualifications of specialists, and implementing joint scientific and practical projects.
During further negotiations, participants discussed the development of the school nutrition system, strengthening the material and technical base, the introduction of modern nutrition quality control technologies, the development of regional cooperation, and the application of best practices.
It is noted that the agreement provides for the development of mutually beneficial cooperation in the area of improving the school nutrition system, training specialists, holding joint seminars and conferences, and strengthening international cooperation.
Following the meeting, the parties confirmed their readiness to further expand cooperation and implement joint initiatives in the area of developing the school nutrition system.
