Officers from the Department for the Prevention of Juvenile and Youth Delinquency of the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs prevented a knife-wielding hooliganism incident, the Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs reported.
According to the agency, on May 10, a group of teenagers gathered at a cemetery in the Kamoli Khujandi mahalla of the Shokhmansur district. The minors reportedly intended to start a fight and commit hooligan acts.


Thanks to the timely intervention of police officers from both sides, nine minors were detained and taken to the Dushanbe Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs.
During a personal search of the minor, Radzhabov F., known among teenagers by the nickname "Genie", a household knife was found in his belt and confiscated.


The necessary documents have now been prepared for this incident. Further investigation is underway regarding those involved.
The Ministry of Internal Affairs also appealed to citizens, especially parents, not to leave children without proper supervision.
