On May 11, 2026, Deputy Minister of Labor, Migration, and Employment of Tajikistan Norzoda Sharif met with Ludwig Jung, Special Representative for Migration at the Federal Ministry of the Interior of the Federal Republic of Germany, and his accompanying delegation. This was reported by the ministry's press service.
At the beginning of the meeting, the parties noted the importance of diplomatic cooperation between Tajikistan and Germany and emphasized that the high level of mutual trust, mutual respect, and strong will of the parties contribute to the strengthening and development of friendly relations in the area of migration and employment.


During the negotiations, the parties comprehensively discussed issues of training competitive personnel in accordance with the requirements of the domestic and foreign labor markets, orderly and safe legal migration, and the study of the German language.
Following the meeting, the parties expressed their readiness for further cooperation in combating illegal migration.
