Five bloggers were arrested in Dushanbe on charges of distributing videos deemed immoral by police. The Dushanbe Department of Internal Affairs reported this on May 7.
According to the department, 32-year-old Idibek Kosimov, 19-year-old Farrukh Alimov, 23-year-old Muboraksho Alokhonzoda, 25-year-old Jomi Olimov, and 22-year-old Fotima Gasanova were detained.

Police stated that the bloggers regularly used obscene language, insults, and swearing during live broadcasts on Instagram, Facebook, TikTok, and the Imo messenger. The agency noted that their behavior "exceeded the bounds of morality and culture" and violated ethical standards.

The Dushanbe Interior Ministry reported that the detainees had previously been issued warnings. This time, Fotima Gasanova was fined, while the other four bloggers received 12 days of administrative detention.
According to police, while serving their sentences, those arrested will be assigned to clean up the area and perform other community service.
