Construction of a new village is underway in the Yakhdon area of the Guliston village in the Voru jamoat of Penjakent. The project is being implemented as part of the Government of the Republic of Tajikistan's collaboration with development partners, with the support of the city's executive authority and the public charitable organization "Tojikiston," according to the city's press service.
As noted during a visit to the site by the city's mayor, Abdukholik Kholiqzoda, the new settlement is primarily intended for environmental migrants.






The project is reported to include the construction of 25 three-room residential buildings, a school building, a medical center, and a power transmission line.
On the same day, the mayor inspected the progress of construction of the Health Center in the village of Savr, Khalifa Hasan jamoat, which is being built with funds from local residents.



Following the visit, responsible officials were instructed to accelerate the pace of construction work.
