A group of 9th, 10th, and 11th-grade students from the Russia-Tajikistan State General Educational Institution in Bokhtar visited the Khatlon Region Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs. During the visit, the students learned about the work of police officers.
According to the Khatlon Regional Department of the Ministry of Internal Affairs, the event was organized as part of strengthening cooperation between the police, schools, and the community, and is aimed at increasing legal literacy among young people and instilling a sense of patriotism and responsibility in students.
During the visit, the students were given a detailed overview of the department's various divisions. Police officers presented information on the responsibilities of the investigative department, the crime-fighting unit, the juvenile and youth crime prevention department, and other departments.






Schoolchildren were also given an explanation of how the daily work of law enforcement officers to ensure public order and citizen safety is organized.
During the meeting, special attention was paid to issues of youth crime prevention, law enforcement, respect for national values, and fostering civic responsibility. Department staff emphasized the need to refrain from illegal activities, including gang membership and drug use.
In addition, the students were introduced to modern police technology and equipment, including official vehicles and special equipment.






At the end of the visit, the students noted that the event had been useful and interesting. They said the knowledge they gained would help them choose their future profession and gain a deeper understanding of their civic responsibilities.
It is noted that holding such events helps strengthen cooperation between educational institutions and law enforcement agencies, as well as educate young people in the spirit of respect for the law and public order.
