The Parliament of Tajikistan considered a number of bills at a Council meeting

On May 4, in Dushanbe, under the leadership of the Chairman of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan Faizali Idizoda, a regular meeting of the Council of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the seventh convocation was held.

During the meeting, the draft laws "On Ensuring the Rights and Social Protection of Persons with Disabilities" and "On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Electronic Documents and Electronic Signatures" were presented and reviewed, as well as the issue of returning the draft law "On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan "On Information".

In addition, deputies reviewed the draft law "On State Unitary Enterprises," the draft constitutional law "On Amendments and Additions to the Constitutional Law of the Republic of Tajikistan 'On the Majlisi Oli of the Republic of Tajikistan,'" and the draft law "On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan 'On the Diplomatic Service.'" Following their review, relevant resolutions were adopted on these issues.

The draft law “On Amendments and Additions to the Law of the Republic of Tajikistan “On the Securities Market”, the protocol on amendments and additions to the Agreement between the Governments of Tajikistan and the State of Qatar on the Promotion and Mutual Protection of Investments dated August 25, 2011, as well as the draft Environmental Code of the Republic of Tajikistan were also presented and discussed.

The meeting discussed the approval of an action plan dedicated to the "International Year of Legal Education – 2027," the creation of a working group to finalize the draft law "On Artificial Intelligence," and official trips of parliamentary delegations to Bukhara, Ashgabat, and St. Petersburg.

In addition, the convening of a regular meeting of the second session of the Majlisi Namoyandagon of the seventh convocation and a draft resolution on the agenda for the upcoming meeting were discussed. Resolutions were adopted on all issues discussed.
