On May 4, a meeting of the country's Security Council was held in Dushanbe under the chairmanship of Tajik President Emomali Rahmon.
The meeting was attended by members of the Security Council, the Chairman of the Majlisi Milli, the Mayor of Dushanbe, Rustami Emomali, as well as heads of security, military, and law enforcement agencies.
The meeting addressed issues related to disaster relief, the progress of the spring military draft, and compliance with law and order in units of the Armed Forces and other military formations.
Issues of further construction of necessary facilities in border areas, strengthening state border security, and ensuring public safety and stability were also discussed.
Emomali Rahmon heard reports from responsible officials and instructed the relevant agencies to take specific measures to address existing problems and shortcomings.
